This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a visit to Lava Beds National Monument while you're here at Long Lake, and a lake close by is Fivemile Reservoir. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. Summertime at Long Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the       30's, and night lows in the 10's for Long Lake. If you came to camp Willow Valley Campground is a magnificent spot to do that, and if you need a place to stay New Beatty Store & Motel is a glorious choice. It is very arid here at Long Lake frequently; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Why not stop by a swamp like Worlow Meadow since you're                  here at Long Lake. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Lanes Trailer Park is a great spot for that. But wait, there's more to do next to Long Lake. A delightful nearby hotel is Merrill Motel.
