If you are traveling by, why not stop by Long Lake. Saddle Campground is a great campground here, and going for a hike on the Four Mile Lake Trail is always a wonderful adventure. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Southern Cascade Range has to offer. There's some flowing water close by, Long Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and from Long Lake you acquire a good view of Lost Peak. During the summer here at Long Lake,

| | high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Long Lake.
Having a great time in the Southern Cascade Range is painless. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at White Pine Campground, and Bert Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
