Long Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Mt. Bachelor is great; Long Lake is right by the Snowshoe Lake Trail. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too splendid to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Horse Creek. Long Lake sees pretty       high levels of precipitation; throughout December this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Upper Campground is a perfect local campground; hiking along the Mud Lake Trail is pleasant fun. Summertime highs at Long Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; overnight lows at Long Lake through the winter mostly fall into                  the 20's. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do in the Central Cascade Range. You'll hit upon a pretty lake called Upper Snowshoe Lake near Long Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Winopee Lake Trail. This place, Long Lake, it truly has so much outdoors amusing stuff.
