    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Lone Reservoir. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lone Reservoir. Be careful coming to the Blue Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. A pleasant site like Indian Prairie here at Lone Reservoir is too great to miss, and Dunn Spring is an inspiring site to explore during your stay. Get drenched paddling on John Day River, and you can stay  
   the night at Canyon Creek Campground.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lone Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lone Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 20's. The sight of Mount Pisgah from Lone Reservoir is gorgeous, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Prineville here. Lone Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Blue
 
               Mountains.
At Lone Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is May while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Carrol Campground is a great campground nearby, and don't leave Lone Reservoir without first checking out North Point.
