Slim Chance Campground is a good local campground; Hills Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. So many cool things to do at Loletta Lakes, so little time. While you're here at Loletta Lakes you can take a hike along the Perry Butte Way, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Copland Creek. Through the warm months at Loletta Lakes temperatures       are generally in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Loletta Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Willamette Pass are so inviting nobody can resist, and going for a hike along the Cinder Prairie Way will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. The high level of rainfall                  makes Loletta Lakes a relatively wet site; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Hiking along the Staley Ridge Trail is perfect fun. Silver Rock is an interesting thing to make out while you're here at Loletta Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Oakridge Inn is a great place to spend a night or two.
