Log Pond Lake is a lake worth visiting. While you're here at Log Pond Lake you must have a look at Cathlacom Point, and why not take a little visit to Frogmore Slough since you're here. to camp here for a while, Violette's Villa is a fine site for that, and a tremendous close by hotel is Mc Cormick Hotel. All the outdoors fun stuff next to Log Pond Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Beaches are tremendous;
and Lyons Beach near Log Pond Lake is no exception, and some exciting geology is available here, Warrior Rock is right here. You'll meet a lot of folks from Longview-Kelso here; Log Pond Lake is great enough to spend more than a day
at, Columbia Riverfront RV Park is a great local campground. Not far from Log Pond Lake, you'll hit upon Deep Lake which is a scenic lake, and swamps don’t sound that good but Cunningham Slough in close proximity to Log Pond Lake
is pretty good. For the duration of the days of summer at Log Pond Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Log Pond Lake.
