Warrior Rock is an interesting place to take a look at while at Log Pond Lake; a pleasant beach close       by is Lyons Beach. Don't forget to stop at Cathlacom Point while you're here at Log Pond Lake, and if you need a site to stay Kalama River Inn is a delightful choice. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Lily Pond, and Log Pond Lake is not far at all from Longview-Kelso. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great globe it would be. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Georges                  Peak Trail, and close by you discover Jackass Canyon which is a magnificent location to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Columbia Riverfront RV Park is a tremendous campground nearby, and why not a little side spree to Frogmore Slough. During the summer months highs here at Log Pond Lake get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's.
