If you're dropping by Log Pond from Salem, you won't be the only one, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Dobbes Lake. Summertime at Log Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Log Pond tend to be in the 30's. Some close       by water includes Comer Creek; Fuel 'n' Mart is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful.
