A great deal of rain falls at Loewen Reservoir; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. After a long day outdoors Best Western Northwind Inn & Suites is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Loewen Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while,       Champoeg State Park is a glorious spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Loewen Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Edstrom Reservoir is a nearby lake; there are plenty of folks from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton here at Loewen Reservoir. All through the summer months highs here at Loewen Reservoir reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Loewen Reservoir                  through the winter frequently drop into the 30's. If you came to camp Roamer's Rest RV Park is a great place to do that, and if you're here and you like golf, you can visit King City Golf Course. Parrett Mountain is wonderful and can be seen from Loewen Reservoir, and a wonderful location is Little Hells Canyon. Newberg Travelodge Suites is a good site to get some rest, and Bell Road Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at.
