If you came for an overnight stay East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a magnificent place to camp; Willamette Pass has fine slopes and a friendly staff. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Get covered with water paddling on Deschutes River; hiking along the Twin Peaks Trail is glorious fun. This       lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lodgepole Lake is magnificent fun, Upper Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Mt. Bachelor is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lodgepole Lake, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lodgepole Lake descend                  into the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Barbie Lakes is a nearby lake that you could pop by; Lodgepole Lake is right by the Snowshoe Lake Trail. A great vista of delightful Pillar Peak is available from Lodgepole Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Winopee Lake Trail. Lodgepole Lake typically gets a good deal of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here; July is when it's the driest. So many amusing things in the Central Cascade Range, just impressive.
