You get a pleasant sight of Columbia Hill from Little Summit Lake, and camping at Sumpter Pines is always a splendid experience. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Elkhorn Crest Trail. Throughout the months of summer here at Little Summit Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 30's                  while Little Summit Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. If you came to camp North Fork Anthony Campground is a splendid spot to do that; don’t forget to visit Bobier Meadow since you're here at Little Summit Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps don’t sound that great but Mayflower Meadow near Little Summit Lake is rather great; if you're here, you could also stop at charming Meadow Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. At Little Summit Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful.
