Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Visit Bradley Creek while you're here at Little River Log Pond, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the White Rock Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Updegrave Reservoir, and paddling on Umpqua River - North       is so much fun. What a place this is for outdoors people. Best Western Hartford Lodge is a splendid place to get some rest; Little River Log Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Timber River Park is a pleasant local campground. There's some interesting stuff to see at Little River Log Dam near Little River Log Pond, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Rock Creek Trail. Little River Log Pond is a relatively wet place usually                  with a great deal of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Straight Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range. A great nearby hotel is Microtel Sutherlin; whitewater paddling is perfect on Rock Creek. For the duration of the summertime at Little River Log Pond temperatures are typically in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Little River Log Pond temperatures plunge to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
