Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a wonderful time. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deschutes River, and going for a hike on the Six Lakes Trail is always a nice adventure. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. You're probably addicted to lakes, Lava Lake       is one of those close by, and if you came for an overnight stay East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a perfect location to camp. A good deal of precipitation falls at Little Lava Lake; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest of the months is July. Having a fine time at Little Lava Lake is easy. Why not camp at Upper Campground since you're here at Little Lava Lake, and there are wonderful locations to explore along the Quinn Creek Trail.                  A nice nearby hotel is West View Motel, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Bachelor is a fine spot to do that. Everybody loves Wire Meadow, and close by you locate the Lucky Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Little Lava Lake, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's.
