Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Little Hyatt Reservoir is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Bieberstedt Trail, and Green Springs Summit is definitely a great location to pop by. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jenny Creek; you can stay the night at Hyatt Lake Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. Little Hyatt Reservoir

highs in the 40's, and night lows at Little Hyatt Reservoir all through the winter generally plunge into the 20's. The top of Green Springs Mountain is easily spotted from Little Hyatt Reservoir, and Burnt Creek is near Little Hyatt
Reservoir and is always a diversion to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lithia Springs Resort And Gardens is a tremendous choice, and everyone close by loves skiing at Mt. Ashland. Little Hyatt Reservoir

 | You have got to be kidding. IV-V+???!!!!!! Has someone really run the falls? You make it sound like a like just any old run. It can only be run at the few times there is enough water and for a large part of the run, barb wire, willow thickets in the channel and recluses with shotguns are the main obstacles. Only the last few miles has whitewater of note and it is challenging. I ran this section in the mid eighties and claim along with my buddies Kent Erskine and Max Linn a first descent.... |

 | 15 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
