At Little Houston Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Little Houston Lake. Little Houston Lake is usually a rather dehydrated spot; most of the rain falls through November; the driest       month of the year is July. You can run the rapids of Crooked River near Little Houston Lake, and why not camp at Prineville Reservoir State Park while you're here at Little Houston Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Rustler's Inn is a great spot to get some rest, and camping at Little Houston Lake is magnificent fun, Crook County RV Park is a magnificent local campground.
