You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. If you need a site to stay Mount Hood Inn is a splendid choice, and don't miss out on a wonderful swamp; Little Crater Meadow is right here at Little Crater Lake. There's so much to do here at Little Crater Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Lower Twin Campground is a brilliant site for that, and there's whitewater on Sandy River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. But wait, there's more to do near Little Crater Lake. If you came to camp Salmon River Campground is a delightful place to do that, and Basin Point is easy to spot from Little Crater Lake. Little Crater Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Really nice skiing                  awaits you at Timberline Lodge; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Skyline Alternate Trail. The Driveway Trail is a good hiking trail close to Little Crater Lake, and let's not forget Cooper Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range is unbeatable! You're sure to bump into some good people from Hood River here, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl. Just can't get enough of Little Crater Lake. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Clackamas Lake near Little Crater Lake. Do go to Frying Pan Lake next to Little Crater Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and a fine nearby hotel is Whispering Woods (Vri). This lake is so wonderful. Near Little Crater Lake you come across the Mount Wilson Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on White River. High temperatures at Little Crater Lake during the warm months are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's.
