The Swallow Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and places like Eight Lakes Basin are pleasant to pop by. Glide down the rapids of Santiam River - North in a kayak, and Marion Mountain is clearly visible from Little Bowerman Lake. There's wonderful hiking along the Blue Lake Trail, and needless to say, this is a splendid region for people who like lakes, Chiquito Lake is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake. Lakes are magnificent; Teto Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Little Bowerman Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Little Bowerman Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Little Bowerman Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Hoodoo, and a quick visit to Eight Lakes Creek is beyond doubt a perfect idea.
