Little Basin Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Lonesome Spring Campground is a nice local campground;       if the weather is beautiful, you acquire a wonderful view of Cabin Butte from Little Basin Reservoir. Throughout the long summer days at Little Basin Reservoir highs are commonly in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Little Basin Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Little Basin Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Little Juniper                  Reservoir is a nearby lake, and if you came to camp Twin Springs Campground is a pleasant location to do that. Little Basin Reservoir is located in the Blue Mountains. Little Basin Reservoir gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; July meanwhile is the driest month.
