Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Coast Ranges is excellent! Swamps like Eckman Slough are fun to go to; Ona Beach is a beach close by that you can visit. This lake is so wonderful. Waldport/Newport KOA is a splendid       campground nearby, and Howard Johnson Inn Waldport is a good spot to get some rest. Lint Slough Dam has good water scenery and it's next to Lint Slough Reservoir; the Horse Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Lint Slough Reservoir during the warm months are in the 60's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Lint Slough Reservoir. You just                  can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Coast Ranges has to offer.
