A lake nearby is Sunset Log Pond; Lind Dam is not far at all from Lind Reservoir. There's whitewater on Nehalem River for all you adrenaline junkies; camping is available at Horning's Fishing & Picnic. So many entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time. You could also visit Nitchman Reservoir if you're here at Lind Reservoir; it's close by, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Hillsboro       is a fine place to spend a night or two. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Lind Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel B, and needless to say Baker Creek flows through this vicinity. Lind Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Washington County Fair Grounds since you're here at Lind Reservoir, and                  if you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club Ghost Creek. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. High temperatures at Lind Reservoir during the warm days of summer are in the 80's; the overnight is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 50's.
