Many people like to go to Lincoln Savage Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Siskiyou Mountains. A round of golf at nearby Grants Pass Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time, and Royal Trailer Park is a perfect campground nearby. From a precipitation point of view Lincoln Savage Reservoir is a pretty typical spot; through November this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Riverside Inn Resort is a great choice.
Summertime at Lincoln Savage Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are
generally in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Lincoln Savage Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Reinhardt Reservoir is close by; a journey to Oregon Caves National Monument is recommended.
