The Cat Hill Way offers hiking at its best, and McKee Basin is a brilliant spot to stretch your legs a bit. Camping is available at Upper South Fork Campground, and Prospect Historical Hotel is a good location to get some rest. Throughout the summer highs here at Lily Pond reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's while Lily Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Lily Pond is right by the Blue Canyon Trail, and don't leave Lily Pond without first paying a visit to Gypsy Spring.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rogue River - North Fork; hiking is a popular thing
to do around Lily Pond; South Fork Trail is a splendid local trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. A great close by hotel is Rocky Point Station Lodging, and you should definitely check out Blue Rock
while here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Saddle Campground is always a glorious experience.
The vista of Cat Hill from Lily Pond is beautiful, and not far from Lily Pond you'll stumble on Grassy Pond which is a pretty lake.
