You'll meet a lot of folks from Longview-Kelso here; you can hit the beach if you want, Lyons Beach is practically right here. Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do in the neighborhood of Lily Pond. A spree to Cathlacom Point right next door to Lily Pond is always a brilliant idea, and hey, Frogmore Slough is a great local stream. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Dry warm beds await       you at Mc Cormick Hotel; Warrior Rock is an interesting thing to distinguish since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Cunningham Slough is a swamp in the neighborhood of Lily Pond, and get covered with water paddling on Kalama River. Good hiking is available along the Georges Peak Trail, and if you need a place to stay Orcadia Hotel is a fine choice. While you're here at Lily Pond you can play some golf at St Helens Golf Course. There's so much to do                  here at Lily Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Violette's Villa is a great place for that. Summertime highs at Lily Pond typically tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lily Pond during the wintertime mostly plunge into the 30's. You get a great vista of Nob Hill from Lily Pond, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Cunningham Lake. A large amount of precipitation falls at Lily Pond; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful.
