Lilly Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. Horse Creek is a brilliant local stream; Crater Lake National Park is a tremendous national park. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Southern Cascade Range. A short spree to Christis Spring is always worthwhile, and if you came to camp White Pine Campground is a nice spot to do that. Don't leave Lilly Pond without first going for

| | a hike along the Four Mile Lake Trail, and not far from Lilly Pond you'll locate Woodpecker Lake which is a scenic lake. Yeah, come here to Lilly Pond for a tremendous time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Budger Lake, and a swamp like Bull Swamp near Lilly Pond has lots of exciting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Dam while you're here at Lilly Pond. This lake is so wonderful. So many fun things in the Southern Cascade Range, just remarkable. There's so much to do here at Lilly Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Saddle Campground
is a pleasant location for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lilly Pond; Blue Rock Trail is a splendid local trail. Through the warm days of summer at Lilly Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's. During the moonlight
hours it's commonly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lilly Pond temperatures plunge to the 20's. Lilly Pond is a good site of typical precipitation; the
wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most while July is regularly the driest month.

 | Was at the lake today 7-2-08...Would like to see information on the site that gives information on fishing. Have heard there is some real nice fish in the lake. didn't get a chance to fish. Also let the folks know there is a primitive boat ramp and good camp sites right on the water. Be prepared for lots of mosqitios. But it is beautiful !!!!!!!... |
