area. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. The Cedar Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and dry warm beds await you at The Dalles Super 8 Motel.
All the outdoors exciting things in the Central Cascade
Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Klickitat River is a perfect whitewater spot in the vicinity of Liechti Pond; you're sure to run into some good folks from City of The Dalles here. In the event that you don't mind getting
wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River; after a long day outdoors Cousins Country Inn is a great place to spend a night or two.
Liechti Pond is a good place of typical rainfall; of all the months in a year December
is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Liechti Pond is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range.
