    Many people like to go to Licklider Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Rock Creek Lake Trail is always a fine adventure, as expected you could also explore Kolb Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Baker City is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Baker City Motel & Recreational Vehicle Park. Licklider Reservoir is not the only place close by, S  
   V Reservoir is a close by lake, and some close by water includes Elk Creek.
A day on the slopes of Anthony Lakes is just what you need, also Licklider Dam is worth a visit if you're here. During the long summer days at Licklider Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Licklider Reservoir. There is
 
               a wonderful hiking trail near Licklider Reservoir called the Elkhorn Crest Trail, and why not camp at Baker RV Park if you're here at Licklider Reservoir.
You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Bowen Valley is close to Licklider Reservoir and is without doubt a great place to explore; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunridge Inn. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some good people from La Grande here, and a round of golf at nearby Baker City Golf Club is a brilliant way to kill some time. Near Licklider Reservoir you come across the Twin Lakes Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.
Licklider Reservoir gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that snows the most; the driest of the months is July.
