This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Anglers Trailer Village; if you're visiting from Brookings, you won't be the only one. If you want to hit the beach, Ophir Beach is nearby, and a short trip to Coyote Riffle is always worthwhile. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Lakes are good; Euchre Creek Pond is a lake that's near Libby Creek Pond, and there is a perfect hiking trail       nearby called the Lower River Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. Libby Creek Pond is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Lucky Lodge is a splendid spot to camp nearby, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Elk River. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Libby                  Creek Pond. Thoms Point is an interesting thing to observe while you're here at Libby Creek Pond; if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Cedar Bend Golf Course. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Coast Ranges is great! A great nearby hotel is Inn of the Beachcomber, and from Libby Creek Pond you get a nice view of Canfield Hill. Canfield Bar is a splendid place to explore close by, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Hazel Camp Trail. On a good day at Libby Creek Pond you can take a hike along the Grassy Knob Trail, and let's not forget Abe Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Coast Ranges has to offer. You're probably keen on lakes, Frog Lake is one of those close by. High temperatures at Libby Creek Pond during the days of summer are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Libby Creek Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
