Leone Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Leone Lake you can take a hike along the Thomas Trail. There's so much to do here at Leone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, B and B Rentals is a delightful spot for that. High temperatures at Leone Lake throughout the summer months are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly

| | in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Leone Lake. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Whispering Woods (Vri) is a fine site to spend a night or two.
A good panorama of beautiful Gale Hill is available from Leone Lake; Breitenbush River is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. | |

This lake is so wonderful. On a perfect day at Leone Lake you can take a hike along the Scorpion Ridge Trail, and do stop by Hill Creek if you're here at Leone Lake.
If you like skiing, you're in luck; Hoodoo is right next door
to Leone Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Santiam River - North. Be careful coming to Leone Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. There is a great hiking trail
right next door to Leone Lake called the Fox Creek Trail; you can stay the night at Detroit Lake State Park. Leone Lake usually gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December; July on the other hand is the driest.
