The panorama of wonderful Lucky Butte near Leech Lake is wonderful. So many amusing things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Looking for something near Leech Lake? Goldeneye Lake is in the neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Leech Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is a fine location for that. There's just no way someone       can get bored here at Leech Lake. Near Leech Lake you locate the Mud Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail, and the slopes of Mt. Bachelor are so inviting noone can resist. During the summer months highs here at Leech Lake get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Leech Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
