Many people like to go to Layton Reservoir Number 2. At Layton Reservoir Number 2 you don’t see much rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more fun stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Brennan Reservoir is right next door to Layton Reservoir Number 2; do take a hike on the Coffeepot Trail.

| | of the Blue Mountains. Hiking along the Black Canyon Trail is perfect fun, and you don’t have to go far from Layton Reservoir Number 2 to see the water at Brennan Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Layton Reservoir Number 2 is right by the Owl Creek Trail, and let's not forget South Fork Trout Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while here. High temperatures at Layton Reservoir Number 2 through the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's,
and through the dark hours in the winter at Layton Reservoir Number 2 temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains. From Layton Reservoir Number 2 you acquire a perfect view of Elkins Butte,
and camping is available at Little Summit Campground.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Layton Reservoir Number 2. Davin Spring is always fun to check out, and Fish House Inn is a good site to get some rest.
