Through the long summer days highs here at Laverty Lakes get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Laverty Lakes dip into the 10's. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Wallowa Mountains. There's so much to do here at Laverty Lakes       that you need to camp here for a while, Out Post RV Park is a splendid site for that, and if you need a place to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a brilliant choice. If the weather is beautiful, you obtain a delightful sight of Lookout Mountain from Laverty Lakes, and not far from Laverty Lakes you'll stumble on Hobo Lake which is a picturesque lake. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Everybody loves Brownie Basin, and you can go                  for a hike on the North Minam Trail. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Laverty Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Nez Perce Trailer and RV Park; don't leave Laverty Lakes without first going for a hike along the Copper Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Chimney Lake, and if you're here at Laverty Lakes, checking out Flagstaff Point is a must. This lake is so wonderful. It is very dried out here at Laverty Lakes regularly; December is the wettest month with most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wallowa Mountains.
