Whitewater paddling is splendid
on Marion Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Scott Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent spot like Chief Joseph Island here at Lava Camp Lake is too glorious to miss, and Matthieu Lakes is a fine
lake nearby. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
