It has pleanty of huge bass and other fish in it. I saw two ospreys and one bald eagle on it. There is lots of wildlife on this lake because it is private and nobody fishes it. This is a private lake. However, I have a 6.5 acre parcel that has access to this lake. You can fish for trophy bass from your own dock or boat that comes with this property. The property is splittable into 2 parcels that each have their own deeded lake access. All this and way more for only 369K OBO. Paddling on Elk River is so much fun; Beach Loop RV Park is a fine local campground. Fourmile Creek flows through this area, and a journey to Bandon Beach is always a great idea. The high level of rain makes Laurel Lake a pretty wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is mostly the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Laurel Lake. After a long day outdoors PLAINVIEW       MOTEL is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and there's delightful hiking along the Grassy Knob Trail. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever want to go back home again. Best Western Inn At Face Rock is a good place to get some rest, and a tremendous place to stop at is Dew Valley. High temperatures at Laurel Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 60's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. For the period of the                  winter highs are in the 50's; overnight lows at Laurel Lake through the wintertime mostly sink into the 30's. That right there is loads of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. You're in all probability interested in lakes, Muddy Lake is one of those nearby; if you came for an overnight stay Bandon By The Sea Recreational Vehicle Park is a tremendous site to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Laurel Lake? Lost Lake is in the neighborhood.
