This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Laurance Lake is Reservoir Campground; Hood River - East Fork has a great whitewater       paddling spot nearby. Going for a hike on the Elk Grove Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and you don’t have to go far from Laurance Lake to catch a sight of the water at Clear Branch Dam. This lake is so wonderful. There are nice places to explore along the Pinnacle Ridge Trail, needless to say you could also stop by Recession Lakes if you're here; it's not far at all. Don't leave Laurance Lake without first going for a hike along the Tilly Jane Trail,                  and a day on the slopes of Mt. Hood Meadows is just what you need. Throughout the summertime highs here at Laurance Lake reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
