    The beauty of Lard Lake is reason enough to stop by. Going for a hike on the Pocket Way is always a wonderful adventure; a visit to Coldwater Spring will fill your spirit with fine feelings. The Patjens Lakes Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Lard Lake; lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Patjens Lakes. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Mt. Bachelor; if  
   you come at the right time of year, Marion Creek offers some splendid whitewater.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Horse Creek; a lovely lake like Big Lake is a good place to stop at. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Hoodoo, and a glorious place to camp here at Lard Lake is
 
               Suttle Lake Resort and Marina. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Lard Lake you locate the Thirsty Camp Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and why not camp at Camp Tamarack since you're here at Lard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lodge at Suttle Lake is a wonderful spot to get some rest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lard Lake. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; night lows at Lard Lake all through the wintertime usually fall into the 20's.
A lot of rainfall falls at Lard Lake; the month with most of the rain is December; July meanwhile is the driest month.
