If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake of the Winds. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Coast Ranges has to offer. Lake of the Winds is close to Whispering Winds Dam which is a picturesque spot certainly worth a visit. Summertime highs at Lake of the Winds ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, ordinarily in the 40's. | | lows during the winter for Lake of the Winds tend to be in the 30's. Lakes? Sure, Whispering Winds Reservoir is in the vicinity, and if you came for an overnight stay Corvallis Mobile Home Park is a tremendous site to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. Hilton Garden Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest, and Benton Oaks RV and Campground is a great campground here. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Coast Ranges is peerless! Paddling | |

on Marys River is so much fun, and some nearby water includes Alexander Creek. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Lake of the Winds. You're sure to stumble upon some great people from Corvallis here, and
get soaked paddling on Alsea River - North Fork.
If you need a place to stay Galaxie Motel is a fine choice; a spree to Fort Hoskins Spring will fill your spirit with brilliant feelings. Lake of the Winds is a beautiful lake in
the Coast Ranges. The high level of rainfall makes Lake of the Winds a quite wet place; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July.
