Campbell Creek is a glorious local stream, and if you came for an overnight stay Deschutes River Resort is a delightful place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Sleep Inn & Suites Redmond is a great place to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Pelton Regulating Reservoir is around here; whitewater paddling is good on Deschutes River. For the duration of the summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Lake Simtustus, and during       the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Simtustus. If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. A fine nearby hotel is Best Western Rama Inn; next to Lake Simtustus you stumble on a golf course called Desert Peaks Golf Club. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crooked                  River; at Pelton Dam next to Lake Simtustus there are some exciting things to see. Jackson Buttes is clearly visible from Lake Simtustus; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Reservation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry Canyon is a good place to visit nearby, and why not camp at Lake Sintustus RV Park since you're here at Lake Simtustus.
