gloria valdez: I am planning on coming up for the 4th of july weekend and I was wondering if your lake is contaminated as several of the surrounding lake are. If you are in Josephine county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Selmac. On a great day at Lake Selmac you can take a hike along the Limestone Trail, and don't miss out on a journey to Oregon Caves National Monument while you're here. Much precipitation falls at Lake Selmac; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Lake Selmac is located in the Klamath Mountains. | | beds await you at Holiday Motel; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Grave Creek. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lake Selmac. The scenery at Lake Selmac Dam in the neighborhood of Lake Selmac is striking, and a visit to Lake Selmac wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Bonham Spring. KOA is a perfect place for that, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Grants Pass here. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Illinois River, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure
along the Kerby Peak Trail. Be careful coming to Lake Selmac, you might not ever want to go back home again. If you need a location to stay Junction Inn is a delightful choice. Davis Creek is a stream that you may come across during
your stay, and near Lake Selmac you find a golf course called Illinois Valley Golf Course. And that's not everything you can do here in the Klamath Mountains. This is a brilliant vicinity for people who like lakes. Tall Timber
Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and Potter Gulch is also a wonderful spot to discover. At Lake Selmac during the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this
place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lake Selmac during the winter frequently plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Selmac has to offer, you can camp at Lake Selmac RV Resort; while you're here you can take a hike along the Althouse Trail.
