gloria valdez: I am planning on coming up for the 4th of july weekend and I was wondering if your lake is contaminated as several of the surrounding lake are. Beautiful Lake Selmac has much to offer visitors. Lake Selmac is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Riverside Inn Resort is a perfect place to get some rest, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Illinois River. | | time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains. Take a hike on the Limestone Trail, and a short spree to Bonham Spring is always worthwhile. Lakes? Sure, Tall Timber Reservoir is around here, and the friendly folks of Grants Pass like to hang out nearby. Take a little tour to Davis Creek since you're here at Lake Selmac, and Grave Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. These mountains rock, just check out all the | |

cool things to do in the Klamath Mountains. A golf course in the vicinity of Lake Selmac is Illinois Valley Golf Course, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Althouse Trail. The Kerby Peak Trail offers hiking at its best,
and the scenery at Lake Selmac Dam is striking. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to pop by in close proximity to Lake Selmac is Potter Gulch; Lake Selmac is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Selmac RV Resort is
a fine local campground. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Selmac a relatively wet site; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. For the period of the summer at Lake Selmac
temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Selmac. This lake is so wonderful. Oregon
Caves National Monument is a great site near Lake Selmac, and camping at Grants Pass/Redwood KOA is always a nice experience.
