So many amusing things in the Blue Mountains, just unbelievable. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Pons; Call Meadow Trail is a wonderful local trail; Lake Pons is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Ray Cole Campground is a fine local campground. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Pons. There's some flowing water close by, Bridge Creek is a stream you can have a look at during       your stay, and there's tremendous hiking along the Fawn Spring Trail. If the weather is gorgeous, you get a perfect panorama of Charlie Smith Butte from Lake Pons, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Charlie Smith Reservoir is one of those nearby. Lake Pons is pretty waterless usually; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. And that's not everything you can do here in the Blue Mountains. Lakes are splendid; Scheckels                  Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Lake Pons, and if you need a site to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a brilliant choice. You can take a little journey to Lake Pons Dam if you're here at Lake Pons. There's so much to do here at Lake Pons that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Springs Campground is a delightful location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western John Day Inn; the Berry Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the warm months highs here at Lake Pons reach the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. During the winter highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Pons.
