It's always fun to stop by Lake Lenore. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Lenore a wet location; most of the rain falls through December, and the driest of the months is July. So much fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Lenore; Welcome Lakes Trail is a perfect local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Elk Lake Trail; there's whitewater on Collawash River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. You'll find a delightful lake called Big Slide Lake near Lake Lenore; at Lake Lenore you can observe Big Slide Mountain. At Lake Lenore all through the warm months highs are in the 70's.
For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lake Lenore through the wintertime frequently descend into the 30's. Lakeside Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Breitenbush River.
