Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Goble Creek; Maple Hill is clearly visible from Lake Koinenia. High temperatures at Lake Koinenia through the summertime are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Lake Koinenia. So much amusing       stuff to do here at Lake Koinenia, too good to be true. Camping at Violette's Villa is always a tremendous experience; dry warm beds await you at Kalama River Inn. There are swamps here too; Benham Slough is around here; Lake Koinenia is a place with many visitors from Longview-Kelso. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Kalama River, and golf can be played at St Helens Golf Course. Spend the day on the beach at Lyons Beach if you're here at                  Lake Koinenia, and at Lloyd Hill Dam near Lake Koinenia there are some interesting things to see. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Koinenia a quite wet spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm sites, why not take a look at Adams Lake in the neighborhood of Lake Koinenia; after a long day outdoors Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two.
