Do stop by Lake Harriet while you're in this part of Oregon. Soar down the rapids of Clackamas River in a kayak; there's some interesting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Lake Harriet Dam near Lake Harriet. If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy Lake Harriet. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's so much to do here at Lake Harriet that you need to camp here for a while, Frazier Turnaround Campground is a delightful site for that;

If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Central Cascade Range. Put some time aside to spend at Steep Spring while you're here at Lake
Harriet, and swing by Canyon Creek it's a brilliant location to go to. Lake Harriet is a pretty wet place usually with much precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so
wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork offers some brilliant whitewater; if you need a spot to stay The Resort At The Mountain is a perfect choice.
A fine nearby hotel is Old Welches
Inn, and you can go for a hike on the Cottonwood Meadows Trail. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Central Cascade Range. There's splendid hiking along the Rhododendron Ridge Trail,
and Cottonwood Meadows is a great location. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Harriet is good enough to spend more than a day at, Frazier Fork Campground is a good local campground; Timberline Lodge has great slopes and a friendly staff.
