The beauty of Lake Harriet is reason enough to stop by. Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot in the vicinity of Lake Harriet, and Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a very popular ski area nearby. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet it would be. vicinity of Lake Harriet. Going for a hike on the Cottonwood Meadows Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Steep Spring is always fun to check out. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is unbeatable!
If you need a location to stay Whispering Woods (Vri) is a nice choice, and why not stop at nearby Canyon Creek if you're here at Lake Harriet. Good hiking is available along the Rhododendron Ridge Trail, and don’t forget to
visit Cottonwood Meadows if you're here at Lake Harriet. Head up to Timberline Lodge and strap some skis to your feet, and camping is available at Frazier Fork Campground. Having a nice time in the Central Cascade Range is uncomplicated.
Through the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 70's at Lake Harriet; the overnight is quite cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Lake Harriet night low temperatures all through
the wintertime are in the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Harriet a wet place; all through December this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places
here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Roaring River Trail, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Resort at the Mountain.
