Lake Bonneville is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at The (historical) Cascades, and Rock Creek - Columbia River Tributary is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. Camping at Lake Bonneville is delightful fun, Marine Park and Campground is a delightful local campground; a glorious nearby hotel is Bonneville Hot Springs Resort. | | so wonderful. Not far from Lake Bonneville you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Bonneville Dam, and going for a hike on the Tanner Butte Trail is always a nice adventure. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trout Creek. Park if you're here at Lake Bonneville, and Bass Lake is a great lake close by. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Best Western Columbia River Inn
is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and in the neighborhood of Lake Bonneville you locate a golf course called Beacon Rock Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Eagle Tanner Trail, and why not check
out a swamp like Greenleaf Slough since you're here at Lake Bonneville. Why not go to Wauna Point also since you're here, and Munra Point is a peak you can catch a sight of from Lake Bonneville. You clearly must go for the Northern
Cascade Range. Take a side tour to Eagle Creek, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Tanner Cutoff Trail. Lake Bonneville is a rather wet place regularly with much rainfall; December is when you get the most
rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. At Lake Bonneville through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and overnight lows during the winter for Lake Bonneville tend to be in the 30's.
