Throughout the warm months at Lake Billy Chinook highs are commonly in the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Billy Chinook dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. There's brilliant hiking along the Reservation Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Billy Chinook that       you need to camp here for a while, Angel's High Chaparral is a pleasant spot for that. There's whitewater on Crooked River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Round Butte Dam is a beautiful place, absolutely worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Dave Ike Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings, and Best Western Rama Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. If you want to take a look at some out of the ordinary stuff, take a look                  at Canadian Bench, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Crooked River. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lake Billy Chinook. You can run the rapids of Deschutes River near Lake Billy Chinook, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn & Suites Redmond is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Billy Chinook is pretty dehydrated mostly; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Haystack Draw is a good location to explore.
