    Do stop by Laird Reservoir while you're in this part of Oregon. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many enjoyable things in the Wallowa Mountains, just tremendous. While you're here at Laird Reservoir it's a good idea to have a look at The Sag, and going for a hike along the Kettle Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. All the outdoors exciting things right next door to Laird Reservoir will keep you coming back again  
   and again. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Martin Bridge Trail.
Paradise Campground is a wonderful campground here; get drenched paddling on Wildhorse River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay McCornick Campground is a great place to camp, and wonderful water scenery is available at Laird Dam near Laird Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a good choice; Posy Valley is close by,
 
               and is a pleasant location.
Laird Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that snows the most while July is frequently the driest month. High temperatures at Laird Reservoir through the warm months are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Laird Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
