     Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Laird Reservoir. Laird Dam is not far at all from Laird Reservoir, and Laird Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Eagle Valley Recreational Vehicle Park is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Laird Reservoir you can take a hike along the Martin Bridge Trail, and a delightful location to camp here at Laird Reservoir is McCornick Campground.  
   You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Wallowa Mountains has to offer. If you need a location to stay Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a good choice.
Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Wallowa Mountains is so good! A pleasant place in close proximity to Laird Reservoir is Posy Valley; paddling on Wildhorse River is so much fun. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Lakes are such calm locations,
 
               why not stop by Timber Canyon Waterhole close to Laird Reservoir, and The Sag is a brilliant place to check out.
Laird Reservoir gets very little precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month of the year is July. Bearwallow Reservoir is a magnificent lake next to Laird Reservoir; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Kettle Creek Trail. High temperatures at Laird Reservoir during the summertime months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Laird Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's.
