    Many people like to go to Laird Lake. Any time is a delightful time at Laird Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Coquille River - South Fork. There's so much to do here at Laird Lake that you need to camp here for a while, McCurdy Campground is a delightful spot for that. All the water falling down from the sky makes Laird Lake a wet site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is  
   when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
All through the summer at Laird Lake highs are usually in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Laird Lake. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Coast Ranges. Lakes are wonderful; Southard Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Laird Lake, and swing by Blackberry
 
               Creek it's a fine site to stop by. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Coast Ranges. Dry warm beds await you at Pacific Reef Resort, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Grassy Knob Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Laird Lake from Brookings, you won't be the only one; if you came to camp Barklow Mountain Campground is a magnificent site to do that. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mountain Wells Trail; you're possibly keen on lakes, Mud Lake is one of those close by. Laird Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges.
There's whitewater on Elk River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; do take a hike on the Lower River Trail.
