Laird Lake

This place, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors amusing things. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Grassy Knob Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Agness here at Laird Lake. Nearby you find the Slate Creek to Elk River Hatchery section, a category III-IV stretch of whitewater. It's a good 6.5-mile-from-start-to-finish stretch on Elk River. When the conditions are right this stretch of Elk River is an exciting stretch of river for paddling. Don't
go paddling prior to first checking conditions; it's perilous matter.
So many fun things to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time.
