Stay the night at Bullards Beach State Park; a great close by hotel is Sea Star Guesthouse. Clear Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Whisky Run Beach. So many cool things in the Coast Ranges, just tremendous. This lake is so wonderful. The good folks of Coos Bay like to hang out nearby, and a lake       close by is Chrome Lake. The Lagoon sees pretty high levels of rain; throughout December this area sees the most rain while July is generally the driest month. Having a great time at The Lagoon is easy. There's so much to do here at The Lagoon that you need to camp here for a while, Bandon RV Park is a wonderful location for that, and don't forget to stop at Fivemile Point since you're here. All through the summertime at The Lagoon temperatures are regularly                  in the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at The Lagoon dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Coast Ranges. If you need a place to stay Lamplighter Motel is a great choice, and during your stay here do explore nearby Merchants Beach.
