The Lagoon is located in the Coast Ranges. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything The Lagoon has to offer, you can camp at Bandon RV Park, and after a long day outdoors PLAINVIEW MOTEL is a nice site to spend a night or two. A day at striking Merchants Beach right next door to The Lagoon is a great thing to do, and       during your visit here you'll meet some people from Coos Bay for sure. The Lagoon is a good place to visit for more than one day, Bullards Beach State Park is a good place to camp nearby, and you can spend the day on the beach at Whisky Run Beach. The high level of rainfall makes The Lagoon a pretty wet place; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. This location is excellent, just explore all the                  cool things to do next to The Lagoon. You could also stop at Chrome Lake since you're here at The Lagoon; it's nearby, and since you're here, do take a spree to Fivemile Point. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. Looking for something close to The Lagoon? Round Lake is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Clear Creek, and Best Western Inn At Face Rock is a perfect place to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at The Lagoon arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
