Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lady Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lady Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Lady Lake is Horse Creek; the slopes of Mt. Bachelor are so inviting noone can resist.
So much enjoyable

stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just inspiring. Willamette Pass is a wonderful local ski area, and there's glorious hiking along the Snowshoe Lake Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. The summit of Pillar Peak can be spotted from Lady Lake; in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Timmy Lake is just a very short distance away.
Why not camp at East Lake Resort and RV Parks if you're here at Lady Lake,

and don't leave Lady Lake without first going for a hike along the Winopee Lake Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lady Lake; Packsaddle Mountain Trail is a pleasant local trail, obviously you could also take a look at Red Slide Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Lady Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
Be careful coming to Lady Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Upper Campground is a great local campground, and McKenzie River - South Fork is a great whitewater spot close by.

Winopee Lake
Went to Winopee lake this weekend...it was a little dissapointing because the lake is about 45% covered with reeds and lilly pads. The Eastern shore is the only one you can accesst the water without having to wade through reeds. There is quite a few algae blooms so swimming isn't an option. Overall, the view was nice but not spectacular. There are three decent campsites at the lake, popular with horse camps. The best of the three sites is the one on the Eastern bank, take the first trail you come accross before reaching the junction for sno-shoe lake. The second and third campsites are on the West bank and are a little harder to find...head for the clifs and you are there....

Davis Lake
12 miles away
This website needs updating. I was there on Aug. 2nd,3rd, and 4th 2007. There are a LOT of bass there. We saw NO trout at all, and no one we talked to had caught or seen one. I was there with 2 others for bass fishing. there is no camping at the west boat launch area. Day use only. There are 2 camp sites on the east side. The Lava Flow site is closed, and has been for some time. There is a primative site there. No water or elec. and very primative boat launching area. You have to pole or row through the tules to get out on the lake. The old campground is closed because of Eagles nest there. Eagles are no longer on the endangerd spieces list. Why not re-open that area. it has a great boat ramp. Bass fishing was great, but not many large fish when we were there. Lots of smaller bass. We were told it was real good in late June and first half of July. We will try again next year....
