Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lackner Pond; Snow Peak Mill City Trail is a splendid local trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Santiam Golf Club. This place, Lackner Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors       cool stuff. You're sure to come across some cheerful people from Albany-Lebanon here; there's whitewater on Crabtree Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Park Campground is a tremendous local campground. Lakes are splendid; Hafco Reservoir is a lake that's near Lackner Pond. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Sublimity is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and the Crabtree Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the warm days of summer                  at Lackner Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lackner Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
