is so wonderful. Tenas Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Marion Creek. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Central
Cascade Range has to offer. Kuitan Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a fine local campground. If the weather is brilliant here at Kuitan Lake, you can go for a hike along the
Benson Trail, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Hoodoo. Kuitan Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Lodge at Suttle Lake is a magnificent site to get some rest, and since you're here, you could also explore pretty Robinson Lake.

Winopee Lake
 | 19 miles away Went to Winopee lake this weekend...it was a little dissapointing because the lake is about 45% covered with reeds and lilly pads. The Eastern shore is the only one you can accesst the water without having to wade through reeds. There is quite a few algae blooms so swimming isn't an option. Overall, the view was nice but not spectacular. There are three decent campsites at the lake, popular with horse camps. The best of the three sites is the one on the Eastern bank, take the first trail you come accross before reaching the junction for sno-shoe lake. The second and third campsites are on the West bank and are a little harder to find...head for the clifs and you are there.... |
