Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. The good folks of Coos Bay like to hang out nearby. Kruse Ponds in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. There's whitewater on Millicoma River - West Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and hey, Delmar Creek is a great local stream. Kruse Ponds is tremendous enough to spend more than a day       at, Snug Harbor RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Holiday Motel. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp The Village Green is a nice place to do that; a round of golf at nearby Coos Country Club is a great way to kill some time. If you need a site to stay Red Lion Hotel Coos Bay is a great choice, and Brodie Gulch is a great location to spend some time. Kruse Ponds is located in the Coast Ranges.                  During the summer at Kruse Ponds highs are ordinarily in the 60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 50's; nighttime lows at Kruse Ponds throughout the winter regularly plunge into the 30's. A large amount of rainfall falls at Kruse Ponds; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more exciting things to do in the Coast Ranges. Lakes?
